Fall is bursting with opportunities for good times - football, homecomings, trips to see the leaves and the rush of occasions for getting together. This season is also a time to prepare for the upcoming holidays by taking family photos for holiday cards, gathering great gift ideas and planning home-made goodies for presents. One of my favorite rituals during fall is stocking my pantry with gift options by making my Aunt Cath's bread & butter pickles and Coolidge Tomato Marmalade. The marmalade makes an incredible meatloaf topping and is a sophisticated twist on ketchup or brown sugar. I can't share the pickle recipe because it is a family treasure but the marmalade recipe is quite delicious. Top off your culinary creation with a personalized gift label and you're ready to share!
